People have been doing business together in one way or another for tens of thousands of years.
In our age of wiz-bang technology, product launches and constant bombardment with the latest “must-have” methods, it’s actually refreshing to remember that the internet is a frighteningly new medium.
People do business with those who they know like and trust, and this has been a constant since business began.
In our often virtual world, it is even more important to make the effort to meet potential business allies, dare I say it… face-to-face.
I’ll even go a step further… real-life connections will do more for your business than any home study course, PPC, SEO, or any other traffic method you can think of.
If you want to play on the mountain, then you need to hang with the gang, and there is no better place to do this than at seminars and marketing events.
Now, out of the hundreds, if not thousands of events which take place each year, there is one, which in my opinion, stands out above the croud.
It is Yanik Silver’s Underground Online Seminar which this year is being held in Washington DC between 12-14 March.
If you go and check out the info page for Underground 6 you’ll see that yours truly is actually one of the presenters.
Sadly, most seminars are just pitch fests, where people who genuinely want to learn, have to sit through 90 minute infomertial after 90 minute infomertial, only to then be asked to get out their creditcard time and time again.
Well, not at The Underground Seminar…
Most of the presenters (like me) make their money in niches outside of internet marketing, so they don’t naturally have anything to sell to the IM croud.
They are however, absolutely brilliant at making money online, and I can tell you from first-hand experience, you will learn from those who know what they are doing.
Most of the networking goes on in the bar, which is certainly where you’ll find me!…
Now if you’re intimidated, “get over it”… we’re a friendly, fun-loving bunch, and we are there to make connections and share great information.
This is the marketing event of the year, where the crem de la crem of the online world converge for 3 days of… intensity, learning and fun.
